As Office & Finance Assistant you will work closely with the Financial Director ensuring the smooth running of our Head Office and wider business operations.

Job Title: Office & Finance Assistant

Rate of Pay: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum (pro-rata for part time applicants)

Contract: Permanent

Expected Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Part time applications welcome (ideally c.30 hours per week)

Work location: Based at our Office in Ketton, Lincs and working. Sites are located within a 25 -mile radius

About the Role:

As Office and Finance Assistant you will work closely with the Financial Director ensuring the smooth running of our Head Office and wider business operations. Variety is this role’s middle name.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Subcontractor timesheet management and issuing self-invoices.
  • Input invoice information into the accountancy package.
  • Onboarding and inducting new staff and subcontractors.
  • Maintaining accurate records for staff and subcontractors.
  • Managing Fleet Vehicles.
  • Utilise spreadsheets and databases.
  • Office stock control.
  • Booking and managing training.
  • Monitoring company fixed assets and Hired-in Plant.
  • General administration and ad-hoc tasks including meeting minutes, emails and phone calls.

About You:

Do you have an eye for detail, love of numbers and excel formulae? Are you able to work independently and take ownership of your workload? Do you have a good sense of humour and ability to work with an intelligent and fast paced team? If you do, then read on!

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with accounting packages – ideally Xero.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • An excellent communicator, able to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Effective subcontractor and supplier management skills.
  • Confident in using excel.

  • Within commutable distance of Stamford, Linc. or willing to relocate.
